Douglas Billitch

Douglas Bilitch has worked in entertainment for over twenty years and is an award-winning actor, director, writer, producer, and presenter.

He is a creative producer and director for Dream Factory Entertainment, having directed the upcoming family feature HOW TO BEAT A BULLY! as well as having produced the features BIG BABY, IN THE DOG HOUSE, CLUB DEAD, SHE’S WITH ME and DUDE, WHERE’S MY DOG?!

Outside of Dream Factory, Mr. Bilitch produced the award winning web series PROFESSIONAL FRIEND, and is Co-Producer on the Coronet Films drama THE SUBMARINE KID, starring Finn Wittrock and Emilie De Ravin. He is Co-Producer for the upcoming Brand, Inc feature GHOST SQUAD starring Kevin Nealon and Cade Sutton. As a producer, director and/or writer, he has several projects in development.

Mr. Bilitch worked as Producer/Presenter for Husmann Entertainment, featuring live performances by Debbie Reynolds, Rita Moreno, Mitzi Gaynor and Shirley Jones. He is founding Producing Artistic Director of the Performing Arts Co. of Jackson Hole, WY where he worked for 10 years, receiving the prestigious N.E.A Continental Harmony award for the state of Wyoming in 2000 for the original musical Petticoat Rules: The Jackson Hole Revue!  He sits on the Artistic Committee as a member of the Mechanicals Theatre Group in Los Angeles, and has directed, produced or performed leading roles in over one hundred live regional theatre productions, and is the recipient of the 2006 San Diego Theater Critics’ Circle Award for Outstanding Leading Actor for the west coast regional premiere of Urinetown: The Musical! and has appeared in a number of national television commercials. Mr. Bilitch holds a BFA in Theatre from the University of Southern California.
